Welcome Sagebrush---my daughter is currently 27, diagnosed with BPD, depression and hypobipolar. She has been in therapy since she was 16, and was hospitalized once about four years ago. I can still remember how scary that was for my family, but also it was a comfort to know she was in a safe place and getting help. I have found lots of support here, and I hope you do also. I have done the Family to Family classes that were previously mentioned by someone else, and although not BPD specific, I found support in my community from others who were dealing with mental illness. Please let us know what you need, and we will try to help if possible.

To give you hope, my daughter is now doing very well, living on her own and I have to say that I give credit for part of that to the skills, lessons, tools etc. that I found here. Best wishes for all of you, you are not alone.
