Tomorrow it begins.
Firstly, thank you to the forum & to all the effort that went into the articles both around the community & outside it.
I'm going to make a promise to myself & this forum to become immune to this woman with BPD. I want to feel so good about myself it won't matter if she comes back or not.
You are still YOU! No matter what women come in and out of your life! Admittedly I was trying to deny and avoided reading the almost robotic responses I hear everyone getting of the BPD person being bad for you. Inside I was keeping this spark of wanting to start a journey of healing. Well now it's a flame!
I truly believe mindset can be changed by perfect diet and exercise. I say mindset & not
illness because as someone who suffer's from anxiety I know it's not always the case. And same goes for pwBPD!
My promise & commitment to this forum will be the following for the next 4 months:
1. Update & not abandon this thread even if my BPDex comes back to me. (At least once weekly) If she comes back i'll be better equipped to helping her at some point but I have to help myself first.
2. Only 3 times in total allowed to drink alcohol (realistic coming from abusing it)
3. Minimum 3 hours of being outside walking EVERY day. I am self-employed sitting on my laptop & have all the free time in the world so there is no excuse for this not to happen. They say less than 5000-10,000 steps a day is classified as sedentary. Bought a fitness tracking band to monitor myself & I might post an weekly chart. Sunscreen on deck.

4. Will only eat the following: (Organic everything) cereal, meats (mostly chicken), sweet potatoes/potatoes, Fruits & vegetables. And only drink water & almond milk! A lot of you guys have no idea how toxic fast food and processed food really is on your mindset. And what you drink... .Oh man if you drink powerade or Gatorade... .high fructose corn syrup is killing you. Also me being so big I need a gallon of water a day for my brain to function properly.
5. Lift weights minimum 3x week.
Got my new wireless headphones in & i'm ready for change! Going to lose about 30-40 pounds id say.
They say we have some inner demons to conquer because we got with/stuck with someone with BPD. I'm about to stare mine right in the face.
Healthy body healthy mind.
