My SO broke up with me by email then a week later sent an email giving me notice that she is moving out but also writes that she has 90 days legally to move out. She has her own place out of town but thinks she can come and go as she pleases. I allow it.

Shoot. The rest of my post didn't post... .anyway, does she really have 90 days? It has been just over 30 days. I may have to give her notice if I want her out sooner, right?

It depends on your state laws. Here in Maryland they must be given notice even if they have only stayed for a few days, so a weekend guest who refuses to leave will have to be legally evicted. With an exbf I tried to put his things out on the porch and they police told me what I did was illegal! I had to leave to get away from the madness until he was officially evicted in court. Check with your local landlord/tenant commission (they should be up on everything you need to know and do). Even if you want to remain cordial, it can be very difficult to kick someone out without following the legal guidelines.
