I am new to this group. My child was identified as having BPD traits at age 18, she is now 19 an adult. I am looking for info on BPD. I also look forward to sharing insights with parents who have been through this journey. Thank you.

Welcome to bpdfamily, BPHinfoseeker.

This is the right place to find help and support, as well as a plethora  of information about BPD.

In order for other members  to advise you, or guide you in the right direction, we will need to know more about your situation. You said your  daughter was 19 and diagnosed when she was 18, that is a great start, but can tell us more about your situation? What are some of her triggers, how do you or other family members react to her? etc.

I also want to point out the right side of this message board, there are TOOLS and Lessons to be found there, and they are most helpful. I am going to suggest you start with them. Open each tab 1 at a time and learn what that particular lesson has to teach, or learn a new tool to use when communicating with your daughter.

I look forward to seeing more of your story here, please keep posting.
