VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Hello everyone. I found a site on FB that has been pretty helpful. I don't talk to many people about my situatio, but everyone has eyes and can see the life I live at times. The father to my children shows very strong traits of BPD. Never diagnosed. We had been together only a little over 3years and have 2 boys together (2yr and 3yr)

in June I asked him to leave, and for the past few months we have been attempting to co-parent/ mend our relationship. Every week is the same song and dance. My trying to pacify his bouts and attempting to make a happy safe place for our boys. He lives 70miles away and comes on the weekends to either pick up the kids or stay and visit and we do something as a family. But I literally never know until hours before. Depending on the mood, what I may say wrong... .What I'm looking for in this group is how to cope. How to gain strength to walk away from unhealthy situations I put myself in. How to create boundaries and hold to them. Stop enabling acts. I can go on and on. Thank you for listening and allowing me to be apart of the group

Hey Mgurule, Welcome!  You have come to the right place.  We "get it" when it comes to BPD.  There are lots of great resources on this sight, including those to the right =>

I am uncertain if you have a specific question, so feel free to fire away.
