Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

Hi I dont have the answer to your question, but can tell you this website has been a godsend to me, just knowing that other people can totally relate to your feelings of pain and confusion is a massive help

I am trying to climb up a very long rope myself and just one day at a time is how I go, do you have a good support network within your family?

Oh my, I'm so very sorry to hear that your child did this to themselves.  Has the surgery been successful?  Is he or she still in hospital?

Please come back and let us know how you and your child are doing.  We want to help you through this crisis and start to build the skills for a better future.
