 So good to have a voice and know someone is reading this.  My daughter and I have BPD.  Hers is more intense at this time and she was told she is bipolar.  She has made some great decisions about continuing her education this Jan., but now her behavior is scaring me. I need to get away from her. 

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

Turkish asks some of the same questions I have.  I look forward to your reply so that I can better understand your situation and offer you support.

In the meantime, from my own experience, it's best not to make decisions based on fear and at the same time fear is a signal that we need to protect ourselves.  It's a dilemma for sure and I hope to help you as you sort this out.
