I'm on my second day of NC (actually my first because yesterday was thebreak up). Keeping her blocked on my phone is such a challenge. I've unblocked it twice but only about 5 minutes each time.

My head is still very locked into her about it though. On the pro side of having it blocked, I don't have to see if she hasn't written to me. Also I can have the imaginary pleasure that she is trying to write me (though I told her I was going to block her). Are those weird thoughts, or is that a normal part of the early NC stages? A motivation towards a new habit that eventually takes hold?

I'm in a world of pain though. One good thing has been to talk to friends-- there are a couple of conversations that I probably wouldn't have had if I had been still in contact.

I'll make a list of good things that have happened.

1. Became closer to friends from sharing the pain of it all.

2. Reconnected with an old friend, also in sharing pain.

3. Had a good yoga practice this morning, in part sparked by the intensity of the emotional pain.

4. went running yesterday.
