I am so glad to find this website.  Just can't believe so many people in the same boat as I am now. My 17 years old daughter has been struggling with ED for 3 years along with depression and anxiety.  Her doctor recently told me that she has BPD traits.  Her mood swings are very badly recently. She tried abilfiy 2mg while she was in residential treatment for only one week but got very bad side effect so she stopped as her doctor suggested. It is so hard a find a psychiatrist taking a new patient now.  I'd appreciate if you could recommend one in Boston area.  Thanks.

Thank you Eyeamme. Yes, I did but we can't afford 3East as it's a self paid with at least 30 days stay program.  Currently, she has twice a week DBP individual session and one group DBP session. She tried a few different meds but it seems not helpful.  We had two different psychiatrists in the past but she didn't trust them.  Now we really hope we can a psychiatrist who she can trust and in competent in treating his complex mental illness.  She is a smart girl and doing very at school.  She really wants to get better so she is very cooperative with all treatments.  It's heart broken to see her suffering now.  Thanks.
