Just saying "Hi". Doctor recommended a support group, so I thought I would give it a try. I'm sure I will gain wisdom and insight from you all. Thanks in advance

Hi Momof5girls,
Welcome to the Parenting Board!
Wow... .5 girls!
How old are your girls, which one(s) do you believe are struggling with this disorder?
I look forward to hearing back from you, getting to know you and being a source of info and support where I am able.

Hi Mom!
I'm fairly new here myself. Our uBPD son, 20, moved back in recently and in desperation I found this site and it's been the best thing for ME! I'm on my third book on the subject and it's helped so much in truly understanding what he's experiencing and therefore my reactions to him. I'm hopeful that the change in my thinking will benefit him in the long run. The other huge thing for me is that I no longer feel alone in all this. That's been a lifesaver. Most of our friends' kids are currently overachieving . However, I did reconnect with someone who's son is struggling and I think I was able to help a bit. If nothing else I listened and validated what they're all going through.
Didn't mean to go this long! But welcome, and I hope you gain the support you and your family need!
