Assessment no 2 is on its way

Its been a rollercoaster of a ride lately in my family. Between my grandmother's will and my daughter's tonsils I haven't had much of a break. To make matters more complicated, I got two emails in the last two days from two of my daughter's teachers asking me what was going on with her. She's gone from being one of the best and the brightest to being one of the lowest performing students in the class. So as a result I got a little more proactive and now have an assessment for her with a clinical psychologist at the end of the week. Finally. Meanwhile the school is trying to get her counseling, they have on site substance abuse counseling. Substance abuse is part of her problem but not all of it. Her latest love interest is a boy in a group home in another county. I hope that my daughter cooperates and I can get her to that assessment. I will definitely keep you posted.

Hi unicorn,
It's good to learn that her teachers are paying attention and care enough to reach out to you.
Let us know how the assessment goes.

Thank you, she missed yesterday's assessment because she didn't show up to meet me and she gave her phone to someone so I couldn't find her. We'll try again in a week.
She ran away again this week, technically she just went missing, she contacted me after midnight, but I had to involve the police. She is back now, it was just an overnight thing.

If she's not home by city curfew (11pm) I call the police. The latest tip was to turn off iMessage on her phone so I can know who she's texting. Right now my attitude is I just want to get her to her next assessment .
