Co-parenting with a toxic ex

There was no contentious divorce or custody battle, and there is no co-parenting. Recently I read an article on Facebook about parallel parenting instead of co-parenting with a narcissistic ex. I remember when someone in my church first suggested co-parenting with my ex I was offended, it took me years to finally explain to her that my ex was a drug using bipolar sociopath and there was no co-parenting with him. She had no idea.

Fast forward to today when my d15 and I are keeping a big secret from her father: her recent trip to the emergency room where she got discharged with alcohol overdose, bruises on her face and depression.

He called twice in the past week, once to talk to her and once to talk to me. He has not asked about her phone, which is good, as it was stolen.

He called me to ask her about this writing group she's in as he's in a writing group too and he was thinking about her.

Its always all about him.

She's sick of him and doesn't want to talk to him anymore. When she did talk to him the other night he asked about her "love life" which really annoyed her. Previously she told him he was really annoying because he was lecturing her about some guy she was hanging out with. He's totally lost her and alienated her, and that had nothing to do with me.

So, anybody have any book recommendations for someone in my situation, parallel parenting with a narcissistic ex?
