seeing the threat

I have seen it too often. The curving of her mouth and I know the next thing is fault finding. I keep quiet and walk away.
I made peace with the fact that she lies, distorts and manipulate truth. She constantly attempts to put her mistakes at my door and tries to control me. How I walk, what I say etc. At failing to do this she tries to belittle me. Everyone she mixes with is not as strong as I am and when I avoid their company I'm a snob and act superior. She shoves them down my throat and when I'm not impressed by their stupidy I'm getting insults.

It's hard to hear insults and be blamed all the time, to be belittled. You must be exhausted if it is chronic and unrelenting.
