Hi everyone
My 15 daughter was just diagnosed with BPD.  She is on her fourth hospitalization since September.  She went to an inpatient 21 day facility.  Then she was home for about 11 days and ended up in an acute residential facility.  She was there for about a week. Then she went back to the inpatient 21 day program.  She was discharged from the inpatient program on Monday and then start their PHP for the week.  Friday was to be her last day at PHP.  Her conditions for participating in the program were that she could not smoke cigarettes and that she had to spend a few hours each morning at her high school. They kicked her out of the program yesterday morning because she smoked cigarettes and didn't make it to school Friday morning.

She is now back at the acute inpatient because she tried to hide exacto knives' blades.  Now we are researching a longer term residential program for her.  I'm glad to find this site and I'm really hoping for some help.
