My 32 yr. daughter has bpd. Has been through 3 DBT sessions.I’ve decided to learn to live peacefully with her even out of State. I am beginning to read books on dealing with this but it has affected me physically.
Any advice? I won’t walk away

Hi!  I am so sorry to hear you are going through this!  My daughter was diagnosed about 3 years ago....it is a BEAST of a disorder Frustrated/Unfortunate (click to insert in post) she has estranged herself from me, her father, her sister and her nieces, though, I hear from her sporadically (I say it "non-chalantly" only because I have FORCED myself to resume my REAL life and attempt to find some joy (the first year was horrendous), like you, I will NEVER give up!  I have utilized the following that might be of some help to you? in no particular order:  (this group is a lifesaver!) NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Health), I found a BPD therapist (specializes in assisting parents of children/young adults with BPD) I have read "Stop Walking on Egg Shells (oddly, at my daughter's suggestion"  (very helpful) and "I Hate You, Don't Leave Me" (more of a clinical read, though, still helpful), please reach out, if you need anything Smiling (click to insert in post) and good luck!
