I have a 40 yo daughter who has mystified me her entire life.  I believe she has BPD.  We are estranged however I have regular phone contact with her 3 school age children.  I am learning not to let her verbally abuse me but it is heartbreaking that she has no interest in getting help. I worry about those children.

Its very good you can maintain contact with the children.  They may remember and look for you if things get out of hand.   What are you most worried about with them?  Is there a partner involved?   Are you able to arrange visits with them?

Being a stable person in their lives is probably very important to them, its really good if you can continue that.

Hello Tutu3

Some relationships are mystifying and confusing. You mention you have a concern for her getting help. What sort help do you think will help her? What do you hope will come of this?

I hope you find peace. Maintaining a relationship with a pwBPD is often difficult.
