Hi tristesse
Thanks for sharing this video, I think it is very helpful when we are able to place ourselves in the shoes of our BPD loved ones and try to see the world through their eyes. The understanding that can come from that will help us more effectively apply the various tools and lessons. I can understand your tears when watching it, it is sad to realize how much some people are hurting inside and how hard it can be for them just to get through a single day.

Hi Tristesse
Thanks for posting the video, you're right its important we understand how our loved ones feel every single day keeps us on the right track and in their boots
My 28DD tweets for BPD and other disorders educational tweets , ... .as well as sharing how she's feeling, her pain, frustration, struggles and her triumphs, she's validated by other sufferers who understand, she's not alone and nor are they. It breaks my heart to feel her pain written there right in front of me and I have to remember this is a positive and therapeutic coping mechanism of her choice, replacing a few unhealthy ones (she 10 months in weekly DBT) - not cut herself or hospitalised since Feb 2016 and alcohol is off the menu.
I wonder if other members loved ones tweet and if it's helped their child? I believe it's a positive experience for my DD so thought I'd get it out there.
