Hi there,

I'm so pleased to have found this website. My eldest daughter (19) has been diagnosed with BPD as well as Histrionic Personality Disorder and Dependency Personality Disorder. Raising her is the hardest thing I have ever done and despite good therapy it doesn't seem to be getting easier. I'm in the UK where there isn't any family support that I can find. I worry so much about her and about the rest of my family, it is difficult to talk about it with other parents as no one seems to have had similar experiences. Looking forward to learning from this forum.

Hi Fleury:
Welcome to the Community!

I'm so sorry about your struggles with your daughter.     You got to the "Parents & Sibling Board"  instead of the "Parenting Board".  Someone will likely move your thread there.  If not, you can post a new thread on the Parenting Board".

I'm sure you will find a lot of help and support from the other mothers on the Parenting Board.
There are members there who are familiar with the resources in the UK, who will be willing to share.

Best wishes.
