My son was just diagnosed with BPD. He is an adult, but this diagnosis does make many of his behaviors- make sense... .including getting married 4 months ago, after knowing his current wife (he has never been married before either) for TWO WEEKS! She is also 4 months pregnant and she also has BPD. My concerns are obviously many with them both having BPD and a baby on the way.

Hi Tmc and welcome to bpdfamily

That's a lot for you to take in such a short time, I understand your concerns, what other behaviours are you dealing with? How are you feeling?

Does your son accept his diagnosis, is there a treatment plan? My28DD is completing 12 months treatment and is in a much better place to manage her BPD and is working towards a life style that she can manage. Things can get better, small steps.

I'm glad you found us Tmc.
