I have a 30 year old daughter with BPD and other disorders. She was diagnosed 6 months ago. I've been winging it and now have an idea of what I am really dealing with. She has not sought treatment yet, but I have been doing my therapy. My therapist recommended this site so I'm here.

Hi candyapplered,

Welcome

I'm glad you reached out. You've found a great place for support and understanding. These relationships can take a lot out of us, so rallying your support system is a fantastic first step.  Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

Do you and your daughter see each other often/live near each other? How has she reacted to the diagnosis?

Keep writing. We're here for you.
