Have a gf that is in therapy... and therapist insists that she has ptsd. However, I am convinced she is borderline. The problem is that the therapy only seems to be making matter worse. Anyone have the same exp?

I honestly think that I need some help here. My gf has been beating me with a baseball bat and chasing me around the house with a knife. She always does "just enough" before it is something that will be noticed. For instance one night she beat me really hard in the back... leaving massive bruising but was careful not to hit me in the head.
She often shows up at my work in the mornings terrified that I am leaving her for good... .like never coming home... .but in reality I am just going to work.
I want to leave but I am worried about what will happen to her if I do. She simply is not able to care for herself. There is a lot of history... we have lived together for 11 years. Two kids.
