Not sure but think its BPD

Wow... .finially somewhere I can get some feed back. I am tired and worn out from worrying about my 29 y.o. daughter. Not sure when all this started with her. She was in counseling as a teen about her "father" issues. When she returned home from military they had on the paperwork that she had disassociative disorder. She saw a psychiatrist who had her on meds, but she would not take them... .She and new husband felt she didn't need to take the meds. She has told me several times that she has abandonment issues... .but she meets all of the criteria for BPD. She has not empathy or sympathy for anyone and it is most disturbing. She is married with 3 children... .not at all faithful and doesn't seem to care about the ramifications of any of that. NORMAL isn't in this ones vocabulary. I am worried something very serious is going to happen to her. Any thoughts?

shakenup that sounds very scary, especially at this age when you have little control over her actions.
I think abandonment issues go along with BPD emotions. Has she had any therapy? DBT can be very effective in helping her learn to regulate her emotions.
I know it can't solve the problems, but it helps me to just learn as much as I can, and then decide what I can do that is in my power to do. There are a lot of good books on BPD, in particular Marsha Lineham's and Loving Someone with Borderline Personality were helpful to me.
Do you see your grandchildren much? Caring and worrying is really wearing, I hope you get some support from friends and family and have some ability to at least see them?
Take care of yourself! And please post here and let people know how it goes, try reading and viewing some of the resources and videos on the right, would like to know if those are helpful to you.
