Can posts to this site be submitted as evidence / journal entries?

Has anyone used or consulted with their lawyer if entries posted to this site are admissible as journal entries or records of behavior observations?
I am about to start going through a divorce and I was wondering if anyone has used these in this manner.
Thank you

I would steer clear of using direct posts here. You'd likely then have to produce _all_ your posts here in discovery. Furthermore, I believe most courts don't want to get into mental health issues and legal foundations for BPD traits as evidence and so forth.
However, you should certainly consider your posts as notes for your own recollection. Just assemble another record from posts here if you think it will help you off the record.

I agree with Sam. My best guess is that you can do this but it's a bad idea as your entire posting history (including PMs) would become discoverable and could be used against you. Instead, use your posting history as notes to recreate a timeline in a separate document to be submitted as evidence. And it's also true as Sam says that unless you're describing issues with parenting or your personal safety, BPD behaviors aren't that relevant to divorce proceedings.

Thank you both. What you said makes sense and the primary reason to have it as a resources is to illustrate the roller coaster that she is on and how it would be beneficial to have a time stamped record when going into the custody process. I will of course defer to the judgment of my attorney.
