My adult daughter is threathening to kill herself tomorrow because my husband and I refused to bring her son, our grandchild to her home last night. We had him over the weekend and asked her to pick him up. She refused, said it was our responsibility. We brought him to preschool today and let her know so she could pick him up. I expected her to be over her tirade. She has been calling and texting me that she is going to kill herself because I kidnapped her son.
She is safe right now because she is at work, but she will be off work in a few hours.

Is it time to call the police?

Yes, I would call the police.  Tell them the situation and ask them to do a wellness check on her.  Get professionals involved.  Save those text messages as documentation.

I'm sorry that you are going through this.
