Hey FF,
  I'm assuming you read the post before I pulled it?
  I got back to my L and let her know what I was willing to do, and it's now out of my hands.
  What I did to blow off steam was 1) talk to my T/coach; 2) feed animals; 3) dance; 4) see a friend, and 5) dump my STBX's shoes and hats into his car; my room is now free of almost all his crap, just a few more posters he bought me, and I'll be free. Very cathartic.
  I am still angry this morning, but that has been my predominant emotion lately. Nothing new.
  I will write today and submit some of my stories. Tomorrow I will receive my huge Social Security check (written tongue-in-cheek), so I will use it to start paying down my massive credit card debt.
  Still maintain that I am dealing with reprehensible behavior, and I will focus on rising above it.

I would be very careful about paying down debt... .when keeping lights on and other things like that are up in the air.



I would be careful about making such decisions when you are mad as well.


It would seem that at some point, you will have a sizable payout.  But you need to get to that payout without running out of cash.

Hang in there... .be kind to yourself, especially when others aren't.

Formflier has a point, pay your expenses and pay down the things that your divorce won't cover, but it might be a good strategy to just make the minimum payments on the items involved in the divorce.  Lump the debts and obligations into two stacks, what divorce impacts and may eventually pay versus what it won't impact.  That's a practical strategy but also street smart.
