Hi All:
I am relatively new here and haven't located a "search box" to get this information.
I am wanting to know if anyone has a recommendation on a book that teaches or goes over techniques in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
Thanks in advance of your responses!

Hi loveontherocks
Welcome to the bpdfamily.
The fisrt book I read was "Walking on Egg shells" by Randi Kreger. There is some great guidance on tjere based on DBT and a really good starting point. Ive also read "Loving Someone with Boerderline Personality Disorder" by Shari Manning which goes into greater depth of DBT.
I hope you are doing well. It would be great to hear more about your situation and what you are going through. We are all here to suppprt you and there is also a breadth of information on the board.

Hi
LotR
Here's one from the Library, I've not personally read it.

Many of the tools, skills are DBT based.

Hi - I just bought my daughter a book called The Dialectical Behavioral Skills Therapy Workbook by Matthew McKay etal. At first she was angry and said a self help book was the worst thing I could have sent her. I told her only she could help herself and using the book was the best way to start. Here's hoping ... .
