Good news today

Today brings a little bad news. DS is not relinquishing his firearm. But there is also tremendous good news, as in big time good news. For the last two days he has been totally himself in his right and wise mind, no drugs, no anger, just happiness in unpacking and fixing up his new apartment. It really is amazing. Who knows if it will last or not? But even if it doesn't this change shows me what he is capable of doing and who he is capable of being and I have great hope. I hope others will also have hoped for their loved ones with BPD. Sometimes things really do turn around.

Great to hear some positive moves for your DS. It shows what he can do in his right mind and gives hope for the future.

I'm late to the party but here to celebrate your good news!
So happy to hear your DS is enjoying the process of moving in, making it "home," drug, and anger, free! Tremendous, indeed!
Thanks for sharing,
Faith
