Adult BPD daughter grieving loss and professionals are inept

What do you do to help a BPD that's grieving sudden loss of child and professionals say they  no longer fit BPD diagnosis according to her.. yet the  behaviors have intensified because of loss and we are watching a horror movie.

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

Hi and welcome though I am so sorry for what brings you here.

I don't know how to help other than to be a support for her as she grieves.  That may be too simple and answer though.   

Can you tell us more, like why the docs think BPD no longer applies and even if it does not why she can't get help with what is going on now?  Did they give any indication of their thoughts or is this a report from your daughter?

I join the others in welcoming you here. I am sorry for the loss of your grandchild and for your daughter's pain. She is lucky to have such a caring parent at this horrible time. I don't know what to tell you about how to help her other than keep doing what you are doing namely be there for her. Perhaps others have more concrete suggestions. Again welcome.
