She broke up with me but tried to change my instagram password

Hi. I post my story in a previous posts in here, but long story short. My exuBPDgf broke up with. initially i was the one who broke up with her cause i was suspecting something fishy happened on august 30th of this year (friday) and she didnt want to tell me the truth. i said my goodbyes and cut communications with here. on monday at 3 in the morning (i time she usually works a night shift since she is a nurse) i saw a mail about resetting my instagram password (i only have a few friends in that account, the same with the followers). on wednesday i confront her for the last time and told me in a between childish or mocking way that she wants to see another guys since i didnt give her any security about our relationship (an almost 9 year RS). she has been silent since, i only sent her 2 goodbye messages, nothing long, and she's been silent since, no replies, obviously no closure. im pretty sure that it was her that tried to reset my instagram password based on the assumption that she was working at that time and the same happened 2 years ago when we broke up, i saw a mail about having trouble to access my facebook account (that happened on july 17th).
SO, my question is, what the hell? why do they actually break up with us in the most cruel way but before try to gain access to our social media? then again, why did she do that and then goes fully silent (again a silent treatment, just like 2 years ago). i know that you are going to say that the arent regulated and are triggered, that i understand, what i dont understand is that thing about social media. is it about control? a way to miss us? was she trying to get my attention for the final fight (cause i wasnt talking to her between that saturday and wednesday). any thoughts? by the way, i havent succumb to her silent treatment except on last cell phone message about wishing her well and hoping that the new guy gives her what i couldnt give her, that is, a marriage proposal, i havent called her like a thousand times like the last silent treament nor any other message, either email o cell phone message. any thoughts?

My ex got into my accounts to delete nasty emails she had sent. Accused me of hacking into her Instagram account, filed a police report on it and guess what? I had a login alert from an unknown device within 30 minutes of her filing the police report (she did it online so it time stamped). Wonder who could have possibly done that, yes there are some extremely vindictive people out there.
