Hi Everyone. My son was recently diagnosed with BPD after spending 3 months in a wilderness program and now 4 months in an after step. His senior year in high school he spiralling out of control with pot use. Since he has been 15 our lives have been erratic and scary at times. Now we have a diagnosis and he will start DBT Therapy 3 x a week in his aftercare program.
I hope it gets better.

HI my 18yo daughter has just recently been diagnosed also, its a challenge and a relief at the same time. She has been referred to an MBT programme but we have a bit of a wait to get assessed for it to see if she's suitable (I really hope so). The last few years have been really tough with multiple suicide attempts and she has spent some time as an inpatient in an adolescent mh facility. After a period of relative stability things have started to spiral down again. She has recently started a new college course and we are suspecting the stress of this may have triggered an episode.
