I was just introduced to walking on eggshells, and am interested in how others have dealt with this.  My daughter thinks that everyone else has a problem, she had 2 beautiful girls 7 and 4, my son in law asked us if we could take the girls, because my daughter was so angry all the time and wanted them to be safe and out of that environment, my daughter agreed at the time.  This started 6 months ago and it has been really rough, they take the girls sometimes, she has kicked her husband out now, and gets mad and takes the girls.  My son in law tried to get a restraining order against her after she beat him up in front of the 4 year old, the court gave it to him but not for the girls, she counter sued says she is the victim and got a restraining order against him for her and the girls, the court systems are so screwed up.  Not sure what to do.

Hello  :hi. 2b1
Welcome to the parenting group. I am glad you found us and sorry for what your family is going through. There are several grandparents here who can to the challenges of caring for their grandchildren as well as their bpd children. I am sure they will be along shortly with their words of wisdom. Meanwhile you may also want to seek some advice about how to negotiate the family legal system. Here is the group for that https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?board=10.0
I look forward to hearing more from you and seeing how we can help.
Hugs
