I am definitely not an expert, but some basic lessons from parenting a teenager with BPD-like symptoms:
* if you need to, call 911.  in case you are in danger, or she is a danger to herself.
* take care of your basic needs.  get enough sleep, eat helpful foods, etc.
* keep lines of communication open with your husband.
* reach out to your support system.  this group is good.  if you need real-time support, check out NAMI.  they have virtual support groups during Covid-19 lockdown.  will probably resume in-person support groups after restrictions are eased.

You are not alone.  Sad fact is that there are many parents going through or have gone through similar situations.
