Hi
Louski
I can understand your DD being exhausted by that journey, generally exhausted. My DD (26 at the time, 2015-2016) was very ill and spent most time in bed which I accepted, leaving all she had to do was 2 hours DBT each week and practicing her skills, for 12 months.
Knowing what I know now, if without local DBT I would find a very experienced DBT Practice working online that can cover both the skills work (one hour) and the therapy (one hour). Yes it is not in group work and it is online, resourceful practices have moved online. Fundamental to DBT is therapists are part of a DBT practice to gain the much needed support and supervision for success.
I'm in the UK Louski. Wondering what your current practice recommends, have you spoken with them?
