Is an adult. Is easily influenced. Can't figure out how to follow the rules - doesn't really want
to. Is a Christian believer in Jesus Christ. Can't control impulsiveness. Has an huge need to
be accepted. Will give away money, and even gave away car.  What can I do to help? Or what
should I not say/do to help? Thank you!

Have you had any formal diagnosis/assessment? There are many possible causes for the signs you describe so am wondering if there is any way to go about this. Of course that fact that he/she is an adult might make that more difficult or even impossible. For example, one young adult I knew who kept getting into trouble actually had a severe memory processing problem, so learning from experience was not easy at all. That's just one example. Once you have an idea of what the issues are it is easier to work on ways to possibly help.
