introduction

I am new and just want to introduce myself. I have a 17 year old daughter who has the traits and characteristics of BPD. I am looking to talk with others while I walk along side her in this journey. We have done DBT. It was very helpful. She is a senior and is at a tech school taking cosmetology. I am married with 2 others kids and 1.5 grandchildren. I am a Certified peer Specialist and a mental health advocate.

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders
