Daughter has depression and personality disorder

  i don't know how to get close to my daughter! She blames me for her unhappy childhood and thinks I'm selfish and only think of myself. I am there for her when she needs me but she doesn't ever open up to me anymore.
she is trying to be strong and cope by herself.

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

My BPD daughter blames me for everything, says I’m selfish and and that I don’t care about her. When probably like you I’d do anything for her.
I try to remind myself that dealing with someone with BPD is so different to normal relationships.
I guess all we can do is keep trying. Please be reassured a little that it’s not just you.
My life has totally revolved around my daughter for years. Everything I read says to try and look after yourself as much as you can. I hope you try to, you matter.
