My 14yo daughter wPBD has over the last 3 menstrual 1st cycle- overdosed; 2nd cycle snuck out of house at night; 3rd cycle got into a fistfight with a former friend.

I am putting her on the pill next week. Anyone know of a good bc or one that works in concert with antidepressant to improve the volatility/explosiveness?

BPD + hormonal teen - yep I feel for you.  First of all, she has a diagnosis of BPD and is on meds , so I assume  she still seeing therapist  or a psychiatrist.   The psychiatrist and or OB/GYN could guide you better on bc for your daughter as   unfortunately we really can't recommend meds, or which ones would be best for your daughter etc...    Also, ( just as a caution) don't put all of your hopes on the meds curing all her behaviors.  As you are comfortable, please keep us posted , we are here for you and understand.

I might be too late to the party, but my SD has a likely BPD diagnosis as well as diagnosed PMDD. She is on the generic version of Yaz. It's the only BCP indicated to treat PMDD. It has helped immensely!
