I'm a "data driven guy" when I try to figure out if things are getting better or worse.  I've had my last phone for about 18 months and I'm currently going through the pain of upgrading and making sure nothing has been missed or lost.

Well...I have an app that I use when I need to record important or troubling conversations.

So I went through and made sure that anything I wanted saved had been backed up to the cloud.

My habit is that if I record something and then it seems important I will name it and then upload it.

If I record something and it turns out to be a nothingburger...I will let the system auto name it "Recording 35" or something like that.

Anyway it would appear that every 3-4 months there was a conversation with my wife that I felt it wise to record.  Compared to years ago where it was a weekly occurrence...

Well..let's just say I'm very pleased.

Furthermore...I don't believe I've had to go back and listen to or "use" any of those conversations to "fix" or "handle" any situations.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Best,

FF

FF,

That is. Good sign.  I am glad seeing improvement ... especially as this was during COVID.  Does that correlate or just pure coincidence?

Congratulations, FF! I am so happy for you  Way to go! (click to insert in post)
I think it shows just how patient one has to be. Am going on for four years with the pwBPD I am caretaking and it is only now, this year, that I can really see the strides she is taking. Of course, looking back, one can see how each small improvement laid the ground for the next one.

Thanks for all the good work you have put in on these boards over those years.

FF, I've seen a great difference in you in the last few years. You have abundant patience, you have developed a much greater empathy, you're more flexible, you're not reactive, you have increased your tolerance, and you're very forgiving. How could things not get better when you've worked so diligently to make yourself better?

That’s awesome, FF! I can understand wanting or needing the data to see the progress or progression. Looking at recordings is a great way to do it. Your diligence and patience, I’m sure, had made a huge difference!
