Good Morning,
I am trying to find help with coping with BPD (and several other disorders) of my adult daughter. I feel very helpless and am trying to figure things out. I ran across this page, but not sure if this is the right place to start.
Good morning Gyminii and welcome.
Yes - it can be difficult to know where to start. My adult daughter has been diagnosed with bi-polarity and refuses to stick her treatment plan. I languished for several years. My experience of this community is that there is some good wisdom here. People have experienced all different kinds of things, have lived a range of emotions, and share one thing in common: Lots of listen, zero judgement. Each of us here have our own stories and your story is no different in that respect. It's yours and you have the right to your own set of perspectives, thoughts and feelings.
I won't say more than that as a first response, Instead I'll ask two quick questions.
1) Have you had a chance to scope out the site and the resources here?
2) What are your best hopes for reaching out here?
Reach out again when you feel the time is right for you.
In the meantime, hang in there.
