I'm normally onthe staying board, when I post, but some circumstances changed on the weekend that are making me reevaluate my life.

About a year had passed since the last incident of physical violence from my uBPDh, so I was willing to give it another shot with the tools, and they helped a lot, for quite a while, I was able to prevent most of his rages altogether, and leave when I couldn't.

Things were going so well, that I stopped carrying my cell phone in my pocket some time ago.

On the weekend, uBPDh lashed out and physically attacked my children (our children, if you want to get technical about it, but I'm not thinking of them as his anymore). Long story short, calling the cops would have meant leaving the room with him and them still in it, so I didn't. I recorded everything in my journal, and I still might report it; I just need some time to consider how to move forward.

One thing I know is that I don't want that to ever happen again, and I see only one way to be sure it doesn't.

So sorry to hear this, Jagged, that he got again physical.

Safety for your children and for yourself is first priority! This may happen only once a year, it is one time to much.

Did you ever had contact with a DV helpline? I would recommend you this.
