How to communicate after a contentious divorce... Following a contentious divorce and custody battle, there are often high emotion and tensions between the parents. The children sense their parents anxiety in their voice, their body language and their parents behavior. Here are some suggestions from Dean Stacer on how to avoid conflict.

HI, I'm interested how many people may have had this behaviour.

I know I did when he was pursuing me (said it was because he was insecure)... .  But I think I'm having it again now, not in a threatening way, but, there have been a few times when I've seen him pass by me in his car (when I know he should be at work) He has upped the contact again over the last 3 months and even made a couple of moves to try to prove to me that he is being sincere... .  Normal for BPD?

He was always one for asking my whereabouts indirectly, eg... .  are you at work... .  are you off work?

I always felt he was making sure I was out of the way so to speak, so that he could go about his other business without me bumping into him (catching him)

He knows, or should do by now that he can trust me and my actions... .  so why would he start doing this again now?

Has anyone else had this before?

Well my understanding is this: that they don't trust anyone!  Nobody.  Think about it... .  I mean if you couldn't trust yourself, how could you trust someone else?
