The desperate need for a girlfriend

Ive always had, even before my BPDex, a real longing for a girlfriend in my life, Its like thats what brings me real happiness, and truth being, with the two proper girlfriends ive had in my life, thats when ive been the happiest.

So what is it that makes me feel unhappy without one?

Im not butt ugly but im no brad pitt either, so growing up through school etc Ive never had much attention from girls so maybe thats why.

If im out somewhere even with mates, and its something really fun or a beautiful place etc, I always wish i had a special someone to share that with.

Because you get your value from other people.  In this case being (romantically) from the opposite sex

With this type of thinking you will probably choose the same type of person because you will be looking for someone to fill you with importance.

They are all too willing to do it... .   at first.

We all enjoy having that special someone in our lives, nothing wrong with that, but if you HAVE to have someone in your life then your doing it for the wrong reasons.

Its ok not to have someone, im learning the same lesson.  I am valuable without a man.  A partner is suppose to compliment you, not mesh with you.
