Seeking Coping Strategies for adult sibling w BPD

I am new here.
My sister is unrelenting! Her lies, mean remarks, unending criticism and abuse are about to break me. I have returned to my childhood hometown after 25+ yrs away with a husband and daughter in tow because of my husband's job. Now I remember why I left.

Well, I'm kind of new at this, too, but I have learned that you have the right to set boundaries, such as, "I'd be happy to talk with you about gardening, but we often see things differently, and I am not willing to listen to any negative comments from you about my life." You have the right to change the subject or walk away if your boundaries aren't observed. You can ask to talk later when things have calmed down. I hope that you can enjoy life in your hometown and not let your sister bring you down. I hope you can find love and support in your family and build supportive friendships as well.
