So my ex went back to her ex girlfriend. My ex is the hermit type. she does not have a lot friends and really does not like meeting new people . so she recycles everybody. the last time they were together her girlfriend cheated on the BPD ex and made her leave. the girlfriend just left her girlfriend to go back to the ex BPD. What a mess
has anybody else see this ? I don`t know why they would go back to the person they hated .
on the other hand this make me feel some kind of relief knowing that she is back with her . she left me three time to back to this girl. the last two times I was miserable . this time I am so happy . I understand this is confusing . my guess is why do they go back a ex.
At the core of the disorder is abandonment trauma. This can be real or perceived abandonment and it's very real to the pwBPD. Some pwBPD rage outward but not all, some rage inward. It's the core wound of abandonment that drives this rage. It's not about who you are as a person it's about their trauma.
She lacks a stable sense of self. It's an attachment disorder. That's why she's going back. I hope that helps.
