Okay fellow detachers, here we are face to face with another weekend! Any fun plans? Pieceofme challenged me to remain NC this weekend, and I'm determined to meet the challenge! I think I'll be able to do it if she doesn't contact me, but so far I haven't been able to not reply if she gets in touch. Odds are she won't get in touch after our last fight, but if she does do you all have any polite, non-escalating ways to decline or defer interaction if she does?
KC, just because a phone rings, it does not mean that it has to be answered immediately. Don't respond right away and think a bit before about why this person is calling or contacting you. You are making her think she is too important to you.
Take time to wean a bit if possible. We all know it's hard.
You do know the best thing to do is to just stop answering permanently!
Go to a Halloween event if you can, they are everywhere all this weekend!
