VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

i have recently left my BPD partner of 18 years (on and off). we had a home and business together which i had to leave. i want to get me stuff back but he has changed the locks. being left to cope with it all is overwhelming for him as i was doing everything. i don't know what to do, he has no one to help him deal with it. it has always been me... .

hi hippyrees1969 and Welcome

im sorry to hear about the dissolution of your relationship, and i cant imagine the frustration with not being able to retrieve your belongings. eighteen years is a long time. it will help us better understand your situation if you share some of your story; do you have a particular question?
