I'd also recommend caution on moving in together.

I'm not sure how common this is, but this sort of change can make BPD behaviors a lot worse. Especially if he's not acknowledged it, and isn't getting active treatment/therapy for it.

Great decision delaying the wedding while you figure things out.  I'm sure it's difficult knowing family acceptance might suffer somewhat, but that's a lot better than your life suffering even more.
