"We should get back together"

Last night my ex of almost four years ago emailed me asking if I was in a relationship right now. I told her no and then she dropped the bombshell on me, "I was thinking maybe we should get back together." I told her it would never work out because I don't trust her. She's not a liar, but I do believe she's incapable of sustaining a long-term relationship (seems to get bored after 3+ months). Sure, I could agree to it, and everything could go peachy for a month or two, but I would always be waiting for her to change her mind about me and break up. Sucks because I do love her, but I don't think I could ever go back.
