Confused, needing guidance
«

My husband's actions do not align with us words. I am wondering if that is normal bpd behavior. My story is way too long to type but he was newly diagnosed. I want to figure out how to support him even though we are separated at the moment and he seems to be pushing everyone away. I am pretty discouraged right now.
Any help is appreciated.

That may be like "fever"... it is a symptom of many different things.
He was diagnosed by his therapist?
What is going on today that has you feeling discouraged.

He was in rehab at the VA at the end of last year. He mentioned that one of his therapists diagnosed him but since we've always had communication issues, he never truly confirmed. I did ask him a few months back and he said that he probably has it but he "hasn't looked in his chart". He was doing DBT at some point recently.
We've been having bad marital problems and he's moved out. He aquired my late mother in law's house and he has started making it his own place. He says he's not moving back to our house either so if we get back together I'd have to move there. His actions show that he's moved on. He agreed to see another therapist of my choosing as the VA appointed one was not helpful at all.
I guess my issue is: He looks like he's moved on but still willing to do therapy. Why would he bother doing therapy at all?
