NC is a blessing if you keep busy

Hey everyone, it's been about a week since I posted although I have been reading everyone's posts here which has given me strength. It has almost been two months NC for me and things look so much better. While I struggle with pain, betrayal, and anger in small spurts I'm beginning to learn what alot of you who are further along have been saying. Move on. Be healthy. Love yourself. Create healthy boundaries in your other relationships and romantic relationships. People in my life have already noticed a difference. Some like it and some don't since I am now trying to be more expressive about how I feel and won't do everything for others as I typically did before. For those of you in the early stages of NC (of this is what you really want) stay busy. I am filling my schedule with things to advance myself and treat myself. So far this bad been the best medicine for detaching which I can feel starting. Keep your chins up everybody, the future is brighter when you finally put your own feelings and wants into account and don't sacrifice them for someone who doesn't care about you.

"the future is brighter when you finally put your own feelings and wants into account and don't sacrifice them for someone who doesn't care about you."
Well put. It's a reminder that I will tell myself each day. Thanks!
